Once we receive a phone call or email from you, we will follow up to set a time to discuss your property, size and specific needs. Your dock size and shape needs are endless. Discussing your dock usage is the most important step to ensure you get the custom dock you need.

Once we have detailed out a plan, we will give you a quote on the chosen dock specs. Aquatica Docks will provide dock layout configurations, ideas, flotation calculation, etc. for either wood frame, or steel truss frame docks.

If you choose Aquatica Docks as your custom dock builder, we ask for a minimum down payment equal to the amount of product required to begin construction. Once received, we order and purchase your materials and begin construction of your project. We then invoice you in the form of "Progress Payments". Your final payment is generally due on the day of delivery and covers the cost of Delivery and Installation. A fully detailed "Payment Schedule" is included in writing on each Invoice.

Our materials are on hand for you to touch, see, feel, and envision in use on your new dock. We welcome you to call ahead and make an appointment to visit us and see for yourself before you invest. Every custom dock design is site-specific and will provide a solution for your specific needs. Once you approve the final designs, Aquatica Docks will use the materials of your choice to build your one-of-a-kind, custom dock that is built to last.

Aquatica Docks will notify you once we start on your dock and will provide you with regular progress reports including photos of your dock progress so you always know we are on schedule and you can plan accordingly for pick up or delivery.

Whether you choose to pick up your finished dock(s) at our location or have us deliver to you; you have a choice. Many small lake and river applications lend themselves to relatively easy DIY installation with anchors or pipe. Many customers of Aquatica Docks find that our docks can be easily installed with a little help from eager family or friends. If installing more than 1 dock section, we pre-fit them ahead of time so we know they’ll fit together seamlessly when you put them together on the water. We’ll even help you plan out what’s needed. For larger projects, or where piling installation is required we are happy to take the lead and coordinate delivery and installation for you. Your dock. Your choice.

Aquatica Docks can design/calculate your dock so you can purchase and pick up all of the necessary components to build one yourself. Aquatica Docks even offers DIY dock instructions that are easy to follow.

SEVERAL NOTES IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING THE DIY OPTION:

• A large, level building site is recommended. Keep in mind that you will have to get the finished dock to water. Some have even chosen to build their docks on a flatbed trailer so when finished, they can back it right into the water and it will float out.
• You will need time and patience.
• You should have experience in (at least) basic construction skills.
• The right tools include power and cordless saws, drills, mini handheld sledge hammers, heavy duty clamps, the ability to lift and maneuver lumber and floats weighing 100 lbs or more and help from 1 or 2 others.
