Aquatica Docks is your custom dock builder in North Idaho and surrounding areas. We offer custom docks that include (but are not limited to) single boat docks, multi-slip boat docks, low profile floating swim platforms/sundecks, slip covers/canopies, as well as dock maintenance and repair.
Aquatica docks offers a choice of a wood frame dock or a galvanized steel truss frame dock.
The Aquatica Docks team can explain the differences and help you decide which option is best for your application and environment.
WOOD DOCK FRAME
Every Aquatica Docks wood dock frame is hand built, squared, and bolted together for maximum strength. Our wood dock steel hardware is sourced from local manufacturers and fabricators and is standard ¼” thick galvanized steel; never cheap hardware store material. Every corner and angle bracket is thru-bolted using ½” galvanized carriage bolts, flat washers, lock washers, and nuts to insure a solid tight fit. Nails and screws are never used in our strong dock construction.

STEEL TRUSS FRAME
The Aquatica Docks steel truss frames are hot-dipped-galvanized to insure 100% galvanized coating on all surfaces and welds. Our materials used are 2” x 2” x 3/16”, heavy duty angle iron and a ½” round rod. Aquatica Docks takes great pride in the workmanship, materials and quality of every dock designed and built.

When choosing your decking surface from Aquatica Docks you have the following options:
Our go to standard for decking is Moisture Shield Composite decking. Our docks include the Vantage Line in limited "standard colors", as well as the option to upgrade to additional product lines that include other color choices, capped finishes, and CoolDeck technology; all warranted for a marine environment!
For regions that require it, we offer an open surface area, light penetrable, non-skid deck panel by Thru Flow or Sunwalk.
And if you prefer the traditional look of naturally rot resistant, weathered wood such as cedar or redwood, we can provide that as well.
